Original oil over acrylic underpainting on canvas. Abstract landscape painting stretched on a supported wooden frame. Clear bright colors on a sunny day of Autumn. Sky shimmering through yellow and red foliage. During autumn, the forest is painted with fall colors and sunlight shines through the foliage, creating a large abstract landscape. The crisp air makes me feel happy and I can't help but smile. On a such day, you are always an Optimist. The joy of living. “Joyie de vivre”. Abstract expressionism. Impasto. Master-quality material has been used. Heavy impasto builds with brushes and pallet knives. Using oil over acrylic technique allows for achieving the brightness of colors and richness of texture. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang. Signed on the back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

" In general, my paintings are skirting the boundary line between representation and pure abstraction. Color, form, gesture, and physicality of paint - all of them are the subjects of main interest and great importance. Almost all paintings have been inspired by the landscape. Behind every abstract composition is a particular place in a particular time and in a specific atmospheric condition."
