Kate Keery (b. 1998) is an American painter living in Brooklyn, New York. Her oil paintings capture everyday human interactions inspired by her coastal upbringing. With a romantic style and hyper-realistic technique, she uncovers beauty in the insignificant, highlighting the magic in unnoticed intimate moments. Keery studied painting at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Florence University of the Arts. Besides being a painter, she has experience as a curator and art instructor. Keery also worked with underprivileged populations globally, using art as a tool for advocacy.
