FLASHBACK ART was born from the idea of Alessandro Padovan, a well-known Italian artist of Screw Art, together with two other artists: Lucia Borsani and Daniele Martinoli. Alessandro created, in 2016, sculptures depicting the classic toys of the Soldiers, which recalled his childhood. From this idea he expanded the series of his sculptures, adding Indians and Cowboys. Inspired by the famous Cracking Art, he combines his sculptures with two new emerging ideas of Lucia Borsani and Daniele Martinoli. The new sculptures are in colored resin, and represent childhood toys. Flashback Art is a set of Pop sculptures, Made in Italy. The "Crocodile LEGO" sculpture (GREEN) will be shipped to you safely. You will be provided with the tracking number. Robust and solid work. The sculptures are all numbered and certified. The serial number may be different from the photos.

Alessandro Padovan (born in 1983), self-taught and graduate Mechanical Expert, began his art by forming an artistic duo called Drill Monkeys Art Duo in 2012 and then continued independently from January 2017. It is an adventure that saw him operate with an alternative technique: self-tapping screws and acrylic paint on panel. A path that fits into the need to give three dimensionality to the works and to ironically cross over between sculpture and painting. The screws in fact are placed at different depths and form different planes through which the figures take shape. The Screw Art technique is a not very well known technique, in the last 7 years Alessandro has managed to be present in Galleries, Auction Houses, Art Fairs in Italy and abroad and at important Charity Gala Events. The originality of this work is obviously the technique and the three-dimensional effect that is obtained by screwing very common screws in various depths that, by painting on them, transforms into a contemporary sculptural and pictorial work.
